Hi hi, Malu here!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My name is Malu Bekker (1997), a creative, socially engaged maker who loves exploring new places, stories, and perspectives. My work focuses on visualising identity \u2014 always with a personal approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m curious about what drives people: what do we show, what do we feel, and why do we do what we do? I want to create work that resonates \u2014 images that open something up, invite reflection, and inspire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My style is characterised by bold colours, expressive textures, and experimental ways of storytelling. I see every project as an opportunity to translate a story into visuals in a personal and unexpected way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through workshops, I help both adults and young people find their own visual voice. I guide them in concept development and creative techniques \u2014 so you can tell your story, in your own way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sonny – Buurtkadoos<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Malu approached us for a collaboration to enhance our product with a beautiful illustration that would capture the essence of Buurtkadoos. We gave the task of creating an image in which we would \u2018capture\u2019 each city, with a local character that depicted an average neighborhood as a cohesive whole. We wanted an illustration that would touch people, make them smile, and one that everyone could relate to. We are extremely happy with the work delivered; it is full of expression and dynamism, and has captured exactly what we were looking for. Our product has become more complete thanks to this unique illustration by Malu.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Liselot – Kunstbende<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have asked Malu, through Kunstbende Gelderland, to conduct window drawing workshops several times, and each time it has been a success. She approaches each assignment with great enthusiasm and knows how to create a pleasant, accessible atmosphere with her calmness, creativity, and positive energy, making everyone feel welcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her approach makes it fun and educational for both beginners and experienced creators to participate. Through her approachable teaching style, participants quickly feel at ease and inspired to start working on their own. In short: highly recommended!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
