<\/figure>\n\n\n\nI designed a concept illustration that represents and introduces the city of Arnhem. This visual can be used in a variety of ways \u2013 from flyers and murals (such as at the train station) to signage at the city gates and beyond. It’s a creative and inviting way to highlight the city\u2019s identity through illustration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Year:<\/strong> 2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n Welcome Flyer | BuurtKadoos<\/strong> After receiving one of these surprise boxes myself, I reached out to explore whether I could contribute creatively. This led to a wonderful collaboration where I was commissioned to design the welcome flyer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In my design, I aimed to bring the vouchers to life and encourage recipients to discover the local initiatives. I often work within the brand’s color palette to ensure the identity of the organization is clearly reflected in the design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Welcome Flyer reached between 500,000 and 750,000 households! We gave the task of creating an image in which we would \u2018capture\u2019 each city, with a local character that depicted an average neighborhood as a cohesive whole. We wanted an illustration that would touch people, make them smile, and one that everyone could relate to. We are extremely happy with the work delivered; it is full of expression and dynamism, and has captured exactly what we were looking for.
